Chemistry pavilions D1 and D2 primarily house laboratories, offices and miscellaneous rooms. The goal of the project was to implement heat recovery in the exhaust of the laboratory fume hoods by replacing approximately 60 extractors with a new common network of only a few variable speed exhaust fans.
